FEOCK

A challenging north west facing sloping site, exposed and rock bed terrain. Access was sealed up after completion of build so we had minimal access with machinery. Due to the steepness we wanted to limit gardening to a few key areas that were more accessible and chose to bring large sections of wildflower meadow turf to the majority of site. We applies SUDS and slopes meadow matt turf with a blend of 30 UK native wildflowers and 4 native grasses, the specially selected grasses strong rooting to help stabilize the soil. This meadow has thrived, the low nutrient rocky terrain has kept the grasses from over developing and the grass to flower ratio is successfully evolving with great balance.
